New Cookbooks at the Gilded Lily

We wanted to tempt you with some of the newest cookbooks we've stocked up on recently!

Chocolate and Zucchini: Daily Adventures in a Parisian Kitchen. The author is one of our favorite food bloggers. $18.95.

Do you love eating at our neighboring restaurant, Iwa Sushi Grill? Learn to make sushi at home with our Sushi American Style book, $22.50.

We love the inventive, creative Picnics suggested here: a Sunrise Picnic, a Snowshoe Picnic, an African Picnic and a High Tea Picnic. $19.95.

We love the retro styled cover of Family Dinners, but we really like the spiral binding that makes it stay open flat. "Easy ways to feed your kids and get them talking at the table" is the theme of this cookbook. $14.95.

For kids, we recommend the cute and colorful Packing Up a Picnic, full of activities as well as kid-friendly recipes. $9.95.

Also for children, we just got in Cooking in a Can for little campers. $9.99.

The Rusty Parrot Cookbook features recipes from the acclaimed lodge in Jackson Hole, Wyoming. Recipes are presented by season. $50.

While we're pouting that Recipes From America's Small Farms doesn't include any recipes from Wenatchee, we still enjoy their "Fresh Ideas for the Season's Bounty." $17.95.

Seasonal Fruit Desserts: From Orchard, Farm, and Market. Just published in April, this is another lovely offering from Deborah Madison. $32.50.

The Whimsical Bakehouse: Fun-to-Make Cakes That Taste as Good as They Look. Even if you don't attempt the cakes shown here, kids love looking through this book with you and talking about the amazing cakes. $17.00.

We also adore Little Cakes from the Whimsical Bakehouse: Cupcakes, Small Cakes, Muffins, and Other Mini Treats. So fun to look through, plus great for planning children's parties. $24.95.

The Vineyard Cookbook: Seasonal Recipes & Wine Pairings Inspired by America's Vineyards. Great gift for wine aficionados! $24.95.

Tapas: The Little Dishes of Spain. Over 300 recipes for Spanish style small plates, whether served warm or cold. Great for planning wine tasting or cocktail parties. $30.

Raw is actually more of a no-cook book. It presents fabulous ideas for serving and presenting raw foods or foods cooked below 118 degrees. One of our more popular cookbooks, so this is a re-stock! $24.95.
