Autumn Entertaining With the Gilded Lily

APPETIZERS:


As guests arrive, welcome them with a bowl of Paula Deen Handcooked Virginia Peanuts. Or perhaps they'd enjoy our Chardonnay Brittle from Anette's Chocolates in Napa.


Try our Stonewall Kitchen Artichoke and Caper Relish on bruschetta, served as a dip for crackers, or tossed with pasta. $6.50.


Bruschetta made easy! Just pick up a baguette at Great Harvest the morning of your party. Slice the bread, toast it, then drizzle with one of our olive oils and balsamic vinaigrettes. Top with our Stonewall Kitchen Tomato Herb Bruschetta sauce or Roasted Onion Garlic Bruschetta (Each $9.95).


Or put out a plate of the Stonewall Kitchen Rosemary Parmesan Crackers ($6.50). Spread them with Roasted Onion Garlic Jam, cheese, or with Stonewall Kitchen mustards, jams or chutneys. We also sell Blue Cheese Sesame Crackers, Aged Cheddar Beer Crackers, and Sea Salt Crackers.


For more casual parties, we recommend offering Stonewall Kitchen's tasty, crisp Sour Cream & Chive Potato Sticks or Salt & Pepper Potato Sticks ($5.50).

MAIN COURSES:


New to the Gilded Lily this fall, Old Farmhouse Chutney can be used to make a party cheese ball appetizer, or served with spicy pork or chicken dishes. $6.50.


We offer many intriguing varieties of colorful or black-and-white pastas from Italy: Mother-in-Law Tongues, Rainbow Dutch Hats, Multicolor Leftovers Pasta, Fusilli Lanterns Pasta, Large Rings, Rainbow Small Bow Ties, Plaid Lasagna, Rainbow Lasagna, and more!


Top our Italian Harvest pastas with Stonewall Kitchen's Roasted Basil Garlic Sauce ($7.00). Or use the basil garlic sauce on homemade mini pizzas.


DESSERT:


Whip up a batch of Outrageous Brownies from Barefoot Contessa. Pop them into the oven just as you are placing your main course on the table, and you'll have an enticing chocolatey dessert by the time your guests are done eating. Plus it will make your home smell delectable!


Prefer to serve something lighter, yet still sweet? Offer a plate of Barefoot Contessa lemon bars. Easy to mix, bake and arrange prettily on a plate. Garnish with mint or chocolate wafers.
