Our "All Decked Out" hand warmers are reusable. To use them, snap the metal chip inside the pack several times until the pack becomes crystallized. This will initiate a chemical reaction that causes the gel to heat up. The hand warmer will stay warm for 50 to 60 minutes.
Slip it into your child's pocket or into their carseat or stroller blankets. (The mitten doesn't have an opening for their hand to fit inside).
To reuse, wrap the hand warmer in a cloth or towel, and immerse in boiling water for 10-20 minutes. Once the crystals in the gel have disappeared, it's done and ready to be used again any time.
